About
Building systems, learning how things connect.
UncleBuik is my personal space for documenting the work, ideas, projects, lessons, and experiences that shape how I think about systems, operations, software, and technology.
Background
A path built through learning and experimentation
My work has developed through years of learning, experimentation, problem solving, and trying to understand how different parts of a system affect one another.
I am interested in systems that can be broken into clear parts, understood, improved, and eventually connected into something useful.
That has led me into software, operations, healthcare, finance, hardware concepts, automation, and other areas where structure and information matter.
How I work
Start with the problem, then map the system
I usually begin by trying to understand the intent behind something before thinking about implementation.
From there, I break the problem into smaller parts, identify the relationships between them, and look for simple interfaces where the system can be improved.
I prefer stable structures, clear responsibilities, minimal unnecessary complexity, and systems that remain understandable after they have been built.
Current work
Projects becoming real systems
Some of the projects connected to this work include Lismah, Lismah Care, Mahlis, and other experiments that explore software, healthcare, systems architecture, operations, and human-machine interaction.
UncleBuik is where I document the broader journey behind that work.
